Seamless 2-story Addition for 1920’s Colonial

When the original renovation plans were complicated by structural issues, our team didn't skip a beat. We took down the existing sunroom, reinforced the foundation walls, reframed and rebuilt. The new sunroom is a flexible space that this family of four now uses as a small office and a playroom, with a closet as a partition. Above on the second floor, we expanded the primary suite with a new bathroom and dressing room, and added a second bathroom off the main hall. The finished two-story addition solves the family's functionality problems, while appearing like it's always been there.
